1. Introduction & Acceptance
Welcome to Kalo, operated by Kalo Health Limited (“we”/“us”). These Terms govern your use of Kalo’s website, mobile apps, features, and content (collectively, the “Service”). By registering or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility
You must be 16 years or older. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this age requirement.

3. Accounts & Registration

  • You must provide accurate, up-to-date info when creating an account.

  • Secure your password and account; you’re responsible for all account activity.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

  • We offer Free and Premium tiers on a recurring basis.

  • Billing is handled through the app stores (Apple/Google).

  • Your subscription auto-renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal.

  • Failed payments may result in suspension until resolved.

5. Free Trials & Fee Changes

  • Free trials may require billing info; charges start after trial unless canceled.

  • Fees may change—we’ll notify you in-app or via email before changes take effect.

6. Health & Medical Disclaimer
Kalo is not a medical device. Information provided is for general wellness and fitness guidance only. Consult a healthcare professional before acting on health-related data.

7. Acceptable Use & Content

  • You may not use the Service unlawfully, share credentials, or use bots/spiders.

  • Any user-submitted content (e.g., meal logs, weight entries) must be user-generated and lawful.

  • By posting content, you grant us a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence to use it in connection with improving or promoting Kalo.

8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend/terminate access for breaches or legal violations.

9. Intellectual Property
All Kalo branding, software, data, and content are our property. You’re granted a limited licence for personal use only.

10. Links to Third‑Party Sites
We’re not responsible for content or policies of external sites. Visit these at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity

  • Our liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid in the last season or (b) £100.

  • We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

  • You indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your misuse of the Service.

12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms (e.g., for legal compliance or new features). Significant changes will be notified in advance. Continued use implies acceptance.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by English law, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of courts in England & Wales.
